Nel Coffee Dripper - 5 Cup

These special glass coffee drippers are produced by using traditional glass blowing techniques by a glass manufacturer that originally produces laboratory equipments such as beakers and flasks. The company was founded in 1912 in the downtown area of Tokyo, where many historic and experienced craftspeople reside until this day.

Each piece comes with a flannel filter, where the term 'Nel Brew' derived from. This coffee brewing method that became quite popular in Japan may require some extra work, but produces a distinct and interesting flavor profile.

First use instructions:
Rinse the filter with hot water, then follow with cold water to cool it down. Wring excess water out with a clean kitchen towel and the filter is now ready for use. Rinse with warm water quickly after use, and then store in filtered water in the fridge.
