This bottle brush reaches inside bottles and other cylindrical vessels to clean where a sponge can't. It has a twisted metal handle and firm hog hair bristles. The head comes in three diameters for different openings.
Iris Hantverk makes these in Sweden using techniques developed almost 200 years ago. The company has roots in the country's visual impairment movement: in the late 19th century, a group of visually impaired craftsmen formed a brush-making collective, De Blindas Förening, to create equal opportunities to earn a living and to develop specialized brush-making techniques. Iris Hantverk carries on that social enterprise today, crafting brushes by hand from natural, sustainable materials.
Care:
After use, dry the brush bristle-side down so water doesn't linger on the wood, which is sensitive to moisture.
