This accordion style corkscrew, known as the Zig-Zag corkscrew, was first invented in France in the 1920s. The uniquely designed expandable arm helps to efficiently open wine bottles, and the corkscrew can also function as a bottle opener. It is made of nickel plated steel.
To maintain its function and appearance, periodically oil it with a few drops of light oil, and wipe with a dry cloth.
