Edo Kiriko Whiskey Glass - Frosted

This hand blown Japanese whiskey glass is cut with the traditional Aya crisscross pattern and given a frosted finish, its soft matte engraving set against the clear body of the glass. The glass is shaped using the Jikabuki technique, a mold-free method of hand blowing, then engraved by hand in the Edo Kiriko tradition.

Founded in 1834 during the late Edo Period, Edo Kiriko is a traditional Japanese glass cutting technique known for smooth cuts with rounded edges, producing hand-engraved glass that sparkles and reveals a different side of its beauty depending on the viewing angle.

A modern yet classic piece of Japanese drinkware that works equally well for whiskey, cocktails, water, or any beverage of choice.
