Reach for this glass when you have a fragrant daiginjo sake or a whisky worth slowing down for. A touch taller than the 5oz, its narrow tulip bowl draws the aroma upward, while the fine rim keeps the drink clean on the palate.

Designed by the legendary Japanese sommelier Shinya Tasaki and blown by hand from lead-free crystal by Kimura Glass, a Tokyo maker with over a century of glassmaking behind it, each piece is exceptionally light and thin-walled. Because the glass is handmade, tiny bubbles and slight variations in shape may appear, marks of the making rather than flaws.

How to care:
Hand wash with a soft sponge and neutral detergent, and wipe dry promptly. Avoid the dishwasher, microwave, and sudden changes in temperature.
