The Chinese spoon or soup spoon is a regular utensil seen in Asian cuisine. It acts as a small ladle with a short thick handle, extending directly from a deep flat bowl. Used for liquids especially soups, and delicate desserts. Though usually made from porcelain, these soup spoons are made of pressed stainless steel. Manufactured by one of the top cookware companies in Thailand since 1968, these metal spoons hold deep iconic roots in the street stalls and restaurants of southeast Asia.
