Threadline's heavy canvas painter's tote, handmade in Tokyo and built to keep a workday sorted. Inspired by the canvas bags painters and tradesmen have carried for generations, it puts seven exterior pockets within easy reach for tools, a notebook, your pens, everything in its place and nothing loose at the bottom. Inside, organizer pockets and a metal clasp keep smaller items secure, and an attached key holder keeps your keys close. A detachable shoulder strap lets you switch from a structured carryall to a hands-free shoulder bag, equally suited to the workshop, studio, market, garden, commute, or travel.

The canvas is the reason it lasts. It's woven in Okayama on rare vintage shuttle looms, the region that produces most of the country's finest canvas. The dense, high-quality cloth gives the bag a defined texture and enough structure to stand upright on its own, then softens with every wash and develops character over time. Each Threadline bag is cut, sewn, and finished by hand by a craftsman in Tokyo.
