Established in 1871 in East Liverpool, Ohio this tableware set was created by two brothers who were incentivized by their city to develop a white ware that would contrast the previously made crude yellow ware and compete with white ware being imported from England. Since 1907 the company has been making their tableware out of Newell, West Virginia.
This Green-banded tableware set has been used and is still used today in some of America’s best diners and restaurants. Able to put up to the harsh wear-and-tear of busy restaurants these are chip resistant, dishwasher safe, microwave safe and oven safe but are still beautifully hand finished and decorated.
