This is a natural room diffuser containing nine red spheres made from Korean soil. Its casing is a special edition, handwoven from rice straw by master artisan Seokbong Choi. The spheres softly diffuse the applied oil’s fragrance while helping to purify the air and balance the room’s humidity.
This Chuseok Edition is inspired by the autumn harvest festival celebrated in South Korea. This three-day holiday falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar during the full moon, and like other harvest festivals worldwide, it is celebrated around the autumn equinox, signifying the end of summer or early autumn. As the largest traditional holiday in South Korea, Chuseok is a time for festivities and gratitude for a bountiful harvest.
