The pepper mill is fitted with a solid steel grinding mechanism designed for lasting precision. The salt mill, on the other hand, features a non-corrosive nylon interior to withstand the harshness of salt. Each is adjustable, allowing you to dial in the grind from coarse to fine depending on the dish.

Care instructions:
Use the pepper mill only for pepper, and the salt mill only for salt—mixing them can damage the mechanism. The untreated surface will develop a natural patina over time. It’s part of their charm. If you'd like to restore the original shine, just polish the exterior with a bit of coarse salt.
