TGL invites you to a tasting of select Japanese green teas, ranging from matcha, sencha, houjicha and sobacha, sourced from refined farms. Experience the unique characteristics and flavors of each, complemented by chestnut Yokan, a traditional Japanese jelly from Nagano.

Sencha - Uogashi
Location: Shimada, Shizuoka
Taste Profile: Toasty, Sweet (Roasted Cacao)

Sencha - Kiwami no Midori
Location: Yame, Fukuoka
Taste Profile: Fragrant (Oceanic)
Kiwami no Midori is Konomien’s highest quality sencha, blended from Saemidori, Yabukita, and Kirari 31. Deep-steamed to perfection, it produces a vibrant green liquid with a mild umami profile and a hint of roasted flavor. Exceptionally soothing, this tea represents the essence of Yame sencha and is a TGL favorite.

Agata no Shiro is made from carefully selected tencha grown in Kyoto and hand-picked young tea leaves. Its smooth umami and subtle bitterness create a harmonious taste, making it ideal for enjoying as usucha (light brew).
