Twelve Key Glockenspiel

This twelve key glockenspiel, made of a Maple frame and brass keys, is tuned to a whole tone scale in the key of C.

Founded in Järna, Sweden in 1978 by a carpenter and musician, the manufacturer of this instrument started with making a lyre, a 41-stringed instrument, which was commissioned by a music therapist. The encouraging results lead to continuous collaborated projects. In cooperation with other musical professionals, the company continues its studies to deepen the knowledge in instrument building techniques.
