Crafted by a 9th generation artisan based in Hasami, in the Nagasaki prefecture, the soy sauce dispenser is made from the highest quality kaolin clay, sourced from Amakusa, in the Kysuhu prefecture, and fired in the third-oldest kiln in Hasami, constructed in 1905. The lid and body are fired separately so that the underside of the lid can be glazed, preventing any leaks. With such improved function and high-quality materials, the soy sauce dispenser is intended to last and be used for many years.
