Handcrafted in Imari, Saga Prefecture, this bowl is made in the renowned tradition of Arita-yaki, Japan's oldest porcelain. Formed from the region's distinctive porcelain stone, it is prized for its luminous white finish and accented with delicate hand-painted Gosu (呉須) brushwork in a soft blue-green around the rim and foot.
