These Japanese copper cups have been manufactured in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, an area that has been popular for its metal cast products since 1611. The company began making iron cast farming tools and gradually advanced to producing bronze cast bells and statues for buddhist
temples. The company crafts their products under their “Monozukuri” to deliver the best of copper products to modern customers. The copper’s high thermal conductivity allows the beverage's chilled temperature for a longer period. Many coffee shops have also adapted copper cups for serving coffee allowing for a strong fragrance while served chilled.
