Located in Ono City, northeast of Kobe, the manufacturer of these traditional Japanese scissors has been producing high quality, handcrafted scissors and shears for over four generations since its founding in the Showa Period. Father and son, Takeo and Daisuke Tajika, forge, shape and sharpen each piece by hand using traditional methods handed down by their forbearers. These versatile scissors are handy for a multitude of household tasks, from cutting cloth to clipping flowers.
Please note, this photo does not accurately reflect the color and wear of each pair of copper scissors. The color oxidizes and ages differently for each pair.
In order to achieve it's original color, we recommend using lemon juice or vinegar for polishing.
