Cheese Slicer

The original cheese slicer was invented and patented in 1925 by Norwegian carpenter Thor Bjørklund. The design was itself was based on the carpenter's plane, and remains largely unchanged over 80 years later. This version hails from Holland –where they also know a bit about cheese– and features a high quality stainless steel slicer coupled with hardwood handle. The matching cheese knife features the same combination of utility and practical good looks. The stainless steel cheese knife is suitable for soft cheese. Each tool is sold separately.
