Alder Wood Hair Brush

This hair brush is made by a company that was founded in 1930. The company began as the importer of the first toothbrush with a celluloid handle, and in its 80-plus years of operation, has built upon this historical lineage with an expanded range of products.

The handle made of red alder wood, is strong and lightweight. The wooden pins are fashioned to a rubber cushion that sits over a pocket of air. This allows the cushion to provide soft and elastic support to the pins, while also letting it respond to changes in pressure.

This brush works especially well for thick and coarse hair, because the stiff pins provide precise control.
