Stationery Tray

Originally founded in 1897 in the city of Takaoka, in the Toyama prefecture, Futagami is one of Japan’s finest brass manufacturers, and is particularly well known for their hardware and home goods.

This brass tray is crafted using the traditional methods to color Buddhist statues and metal accessories, where the metal is painted with Urushi, a natural lacquer, while it is baked in high heat.
